which i went from dawless with a dr sample recording digitally via windows recorder (so 2 minute time limit) to fl3 and back to dawless heavier on guitar and a casio keyboard and an acoustic guitar i still have today and have used in songs in recent years.

the dawless stuff kind of interestingly was where i first used the word lofi to describe a genre of music - long before i'd run into j dilla and odd nosdam who were making similarly school of thought music at the same time and prior.
