Good day overall, got done with assignment on kubernetes and Prometheus and sealed secrets. A friend came to meet me and bought me dinner ( God has been really kind to me when it comes to friends). Just a bit disappointed with how my work is going but hopefully will be able to pick it up tomorrow

I feel there is a barrier between basic knowledge about something and intermediate knowledge and I am finding it very hard to break through it for almost any of the thing I try to learn.

spawn is not an async function just a function that returns a joinhandle which is a future you can await on join handle

spawn() takes a future runs it as a tokio task and it might run on the same thread a separate thread or be moved to a different thread by tokio runtime.
