Lots of interesting stuff in this but the big one to me is the idea of being a role model. Being a successful role model is all about understanding the audience. I have this conversation with folks all the time at work it feels like. Yes, you are addressing the person that asked the question but […]

I think it's fair to say that the fediverse is not largely pro-military, US or otherwise, but hear me out... These USS Lincoln folks got dicked over. If we are going to have any large-scale antiwar protests like Vietnam, these guys will be the Forest Gumps. So, let's try to remember that they […]

Hello everyone. I'm a recent migrant from the Forkiverse, an instance that's shutting down pretty soon. It was my first foray into the fediverse and I decided to keep the adventure going and it's brought me here. Happy to be with you all.

Feel like it's been a while since I posted one of these. I think I was really excited about Revolutions and The Pirate History Podcast and that got me doing it. Most recently I have been listening to The Siècle which is definitely not as good but some of that […] [Original post on mastodon.social]

I think I've figured out the successor to #TINT. For those that dont recall, TINT stood for "This is not TINAP". TINAP was an old "status.net show" called This is Not a Podcast. I'm still waiting for Temu Tommy to get back to me but I think the name will be The Temu Tommy and Rent-a-Remco Show […]

The season isn't over which seems crazy after watching episode 5 so it could still take a GOT-style dump at the end (i didnt hate the last season but i think the last two seasons came out before the books and that was very clearly a mistake)...but wow is #Lanterns good.

Duo scores. That English 30 is probably my real Spanish score. That's me changing the interface to Spanish to "learn" English. I cheated to get some specific lessons on Spanish. I also cheated on French but my wife speaks French so it doesn't feel too off.
