This angle kinda makes me wanna see her do a handstand or something on the other side of the half-pipe, after the boost.

Samus with feather accessories is an absolutely genius design decision.

I am platonically in love with the feathers in her hair.

Ain't nobody out here making fanart of specific episodes of "Batman: The Animated Series." What a flex.

This crazy thing looks straight outta Earthworm Jim. Excellent design.

I can't tell if this is an original design or if this is Final Fantasy Tactics Daisy.

My immediate first thought was "oh, how wholesome and adorable and relevant to my interests." But actually, I'm approaching old enough to find it relatable as well.

In the wake of the Metroid Ravenous reveal trailer, I hope to see more of this kind of silliness.

I never thought I'd see an HD rerelease of this ancient Internet artifact. This work of mad genius is formative media for us Old Heads. I'm so happy a whole new generation will be exposed to this silly, stupid, weird and wonderful thing.

Very silly, very clever, absolutely adorable.

That's sick as Hell! Clayface had some of the best episodes of Batman: The Animated Series, a show that had a lot of great episodes, so I've got a soft spot for him. I'm glad whenever he shows up.

Somehow, with all the monstergirl Falin art I've seen, I've never seen her get the lil' guy treatment. I love this silly thing so much.

A fantastic remix of an iconic design. I like when an artist can take an original design, include everything from it but add their own personal style and technique on top of it.

I can't quite articulate why, but this gives me the same kinda "modern retro" vibe I got when I first saw that Rooster singing "Oo-De-Lally" in Disney's Robin Hood.

Yo, what? What!? How is that possible? Y'all are working on two games at once? That ain't how indies are supposed to do it! That's insane! But honestly, y'all and Gears for Breakfast are the two devs I would have been most happy to see attached to such a project. Really impressive work.

I'm sure most people who care are already aware, but if the English vocals sound familiar to you, THERE'S A REASON FOR THAT. They didn't have to get Marc Hudson. No one expected it. But they put in the effort and we're so fucking glad they did. Unprecedented baller move.

So everyone already knows that metal track that dropped in 𝘋𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘢𝘥𝘢𝘯 season 2 episode 18 last week is sick as Hell, but y'all might not know that they released both the sick-ass Japanese original and the just as sick English track on YouTube for your listening pleasure. #anime #DanDaDan

Well a cursory Googling suggests that individually they're called tetrapods and collectively they form what are known as breakwaters. But I'm no civil engineer.

My roommate and I affectionately call this show "T&A and geology," and while that is accurate, at the end of episode three it struck me that, like 𝘖𝘳𝘣: 𝘖𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘔𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘌𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘩, it is also an exploration and defense of the reasons why people engage in scientific pursuit. #anime #RuriRocks

Screencap from Ruri Rocks. Nagi and her colleague Yoko are sitting on the ground in a forest with the sun setting under the mountains behind them. Nagi puts her hand on Yoko's shoulder and encourages her to take the lead in a geological study, saying "You want to be a part of the knowledge that comes next."

I don't imagine you're looking for feedback on an older post, but I kinda felt inspired. With the dark color scheme and brass accents, it reminds me of a velvet rope used to manage crowds at a fancy event. So how about Velvet?

There's honestly a lot of great clothes in Bananza, but these are my favorites so far. I actually want that burger tie. And that elephant-themed raincoat with the classic old-school Donkey Kong arcade umbrella print is both cool and adorable. #DonkeyKongBananza

As a fan of Nichijou, I had high hopes for City, but those hopes were blasted into the stratosphere when I saw the incredible opening shot with that zoom-in to the city from above a rainstorm. This show is absolutely gorgeous when it wants to be, and it was neat to get some insight into why that is.

Full version of the aforementioned Witch from Mercury ending theme. If these incredible anime OPs and EDs are gonna be this good, I might have to start building up a playlist.

So, the summer anime season has begun. Dandadan's first season had a phenomenal OP that cannot be surpassed, but season 2's is pretty great. I knew I'd heard the vocalist before so I looked her up. Turns out it's AiNA THE END, who also did the fantastic ED to Gundam: Witch from Mercury season 2.
