I've been enjoying watching a Carolina Wren feed her babies some juicy crickets and worms all afternoon. When she's done, she flies up to a low branch on the oak tree in my yard and wipes her beak off on the branch. I sneaked a picture of the babies while she was out gathering food🤫

I love these little babies. They roamed all around me while I worked from home on my porch yesterday. I tried to feed them grapes today but they were a little less fearless. Lots of traffic driving by today that seemed to make them skiddish. Hopefully tomorrow we can make some more progress!

Cleveland Clinic was awesome. All the doctors and nurses were so nice and comforting. The food was better than I heard hospital food can be, they even served me AND my partner creme brulee. I loved the fish tanks spread throughout and also the cool artwork spread all around.

I'm certain this is true because I was able to go from, "Hi, I think my pectus is causing me heart pain" in late September with my PCP, having surgery on Tuesday and going home just yesterday, seen in photo, and I've never heard anyone else mention such a swift and smooth experience in my life
