Bandcamp Friday! Since I got into Fossilization a few years ago, I’ve been keeping an eye on Brazilian Death Doom. Been enjoying this album the last week or so - same scene! palereflection.bandcamp.com/album/fading...

Had a dream where I was playing Tekken 8 again and got a secret rank that was called Tekken Black, but you could select it and it would take you to a beta for the new Tekken. Tekken Black’s gimmick was that you could turn into animals… so I guess my brain invented Bloody Roar.

Resident Evil was great. Very bloody and very funny. Felt very Sam Raimi at points; comedic beats and nasty gore often coincided at the same points but it does still keep a nice pace to the end. My biggest complaint is just that Raccoon City, start of the Outbreak, felt pretty devoid of people.

A friend keeps offering to buy me vrchat avatars, me thinking it’s so I come hang out with them… realizing they probably just want to oggle said avatars.

If I leave every chat/server like I did around this time last year, It’s the time of year where the type 2 bipolar really throttles into bad and long depressive episodes and I’ve had a particularly rough year. I don’t hate anyone, I just turn into a real cockbite and my friends don’t deserve that.

Happy international wolf day! 🐺 Here's a few favorite wolf art pieces I've made the past few years. AWOOOO!

a woodburn sitting on a plate holder with black background, the image burned onto the wood of two intertwining wolf heads grooming one another

a hand holding a ceramic pipe, sculpted in the form of a wolf lying down

a woodburn on a slice of birch, the imagrey of a sleeping wolf surrounded by other animals like a bear, raccoon, deer, opossum, puma, etc

ceramic sculpture of a black bear and grey wolf cuddling

I’ve went through a few vintage walkmans and finally decided to try out FiiO’s modern take on it, enjoying it a lot so far. It has a little more of a scratchy sound to it than some older ones I’ve used but it’s a fine sound with metal music. A usb-c chargeable walkman alone is very nice to have.

The worst part of self improvement is cutting out people. I’ve left from main friend groups twice, which improves my mentally and emotional health, but I hate the loneliness and wonder if it’s a net negative to happiness. I’ve definitely grown more bitter and jaded in the last year due to it

The rowing machine has been my go-to workout for the past month or so, it’s deceptively intense. I’ll get done with my 30 minutes, feel good, sweat just a little, not breathing too hard… then 10 minutes after everything is sore and burning and it all felt like a huge mistake. VERY GOOD

Being unapologetically yourself is rad. I mostly figured out my demisexuality from reading and watching those who shared their own feelings and stories that helped them discover their identity. Be unapologetically yourself this month.
