Can someone please tell me why the folks who made All My Children in the mid 80s used music from well known horror movies? One couple had a song from Carrie as "their song" that played during intimate moments and now when there was a gas line explosion, the theme music to Halloween has been used.

Whoever did the captioning for Boarders on Tubi: a) is obviously not British b) didn't actually watch the show at all Words are wildly incorrect, names are wrong, and some words seem to be a misunderstanding of British accents. Yeah, I know it's probably just an American AI program...

Rewatching Growing Pains it's painful to hear all the fat jokes thrown at Carol (played by Tracey Gold). In a later season, there was a plot point of Carol going to London...Tracey was getting help with her anorexia. She deserved better than constant fat jokes.

I've had a rough day. In addition to just feeling really low, my insurance isn't allowing me to get a medication refilled after waiting in line for a half hour and someone almost hit me when they reversed out of their parking space not even looking behind them.
