Nine? Balls to that. I can nail this in one.

It’s the “Nine albums that shaped me” thing but the only entry on there is “Mrs Mills Piano Singalong”. The cover has a cheerful lady in a white dress sitting at a white upright piano where you can see all the insides. She is beaming at the camera in a way that lights up your soul. She is surrounded by blown up balloons that reminds you of children’s parties from your youth, or TOTP Christmas Specials. The tracklist includes favourites such as -

If you’re on an iPhone and using Safari, you can tap the icon next to the address bar and select ‘Hide Distracting Icons’. Tap ‘Hide’ on the pop-up then the tick icon at the bottom. Now it’s gone and best of all Safari will remember to do this whenever you visit the site.

Technically, it’s not a comedy. Also technically, I didn’t see it. But, I worked at an Odeon when “Honest” was released. Dave Stewart’s directorial debut starring 3 members of All Saints. The only film (during my time there) that didn’t last a full week. It got pulled due to empty screenings.

Switched on my old iPhone XR yesterday for the first time in a while. There was something I immediately noticed about the Home screen. It looked so clean, and nice. I couldn’t figure out why at first. And then it hit me. It’s the Liquid Glass app folders. They have a smeary look about them.

A recent review by Chuck Wendig of the new Star Wars film reminded me of Dial of Destiny. In the sense that it’s technically a better movie than Crystal Skull but it’s a straight line of an experience with no highs or lows. The few good moments in Crystal Skull outshines anything in Dial of Destiny
