About an hour out of the fortress. They celebrated and got very drunk. A little Roman army came back just to steal some livestock but found the fortress open and occupied it The hangover Bulgarians found the next day that they lost the city that they spent four months defending

I can’t find it in English and it’s too long to translate but John VI Kantakouzenos wrote about the most unbelievable siege of Phillipopolis ( now Plovdiv ) in 1322 After four months the Romans had to leave and it seems the Bulgarians won. Their new king was coming so they all came to meet him

I would definitely go insane, if I see my relative bleeding away. Even on camera. I always avoid confrontation, even if bullied, but once almost beaten to death some guy who messed up with my brother

I have seen corpses, with blood and all but never live violence. Maybe that’s why I don’t care about horror movies, Halloween etc. I have dressed up at parties, but it wasn’t exciting. I enjoyed the food and booze though

It’s already a dictatorship. But people elected this administration. The eggs were too pricey. ( Spoiler: eggs, along with everything else, got way more expensive. ) They will still vote for them next month. Democracy sucks.
