Calling our present political leadership a “corporate oligarchy” is inaccurate. It implies that there are several corporate leaders driving policy decisions to their benefit. The truth is worse: those CEOs are bending the knee to one person to remain “in favor”. Under threat, they have zero power.

I’ve been thinking about this incessantly for months: The best way - perhaps the only way - for any resistance to win is to win the information war. The right have successfully sewn up online and legacy media spheres and, short of having an unlimited budget, I can’t see how we can show the truth.

We need to organize this “resistance”. From each to their abilities. Who can make a website that’s a clearinghouse for all upcoming protest activity? Who can start a gofundme for water and food delivery to protests? Who knows communication for press? Who’s got a law degree that can donate?

For everyone talking about the great turnaround that will occur in the Mid-Terms: STOP IT. Assuming there will actually be Mid-Terms (which I doubt), having a majority in the House means nothing if the Dems still hemorrhage votes. Jeffries and Clark are completely weak and ineffective leaders.
