During the Vietnam War, the defense industry did not wish to show their hand, and refused to share where military groups would operate. So correspondents would wake up, see the direction the choppers were flying, and tail them to report on things like My Lai, etc.

Taking out Los Angeles / Long Beach harbors would destroy the economy. COVID would have done it, but my union figured out how to do it safely within a week.
