All from the 90’s when Man o War was current. The minis the shields and banners are from have long since been stripped but I saved some of the fancy stuff, also from the 90’s. My fave shield is the orange brown face, very early GW.

Painted tabletop shields and banners. Lots of skulls so clearly GW. Also red and black ship sails.

Painted dark elf fleet with lots of sea serpents with tiny turrets perched on them. Also huge skull prow floating castle. All painted purple and blue.

Where the magic happens. My RQ minis were in the bookcase which was great for inspiration as they were on view while I painted, but they moved to a shiny new home.

Prepping for my next batch of minis. I don’t have enough monsters so it’s dino and blobby time. Blob is a gorp who loves to make friends, literally, small dinos as rubble runners, big uns pack leaders, two at the back pack animals. Blobbys are @fenrisgames.com dinos mix of HLBS and Forge of Ice.

Loads of raptor dinosaurs in blue grey base coat, 2 pack carrying dinos, baggage will be added later. In front are 2 oozy slime people and a big blob monster, all in flesh colour.

My cracked and ancient is starting to piss me off and I’m looking for a decent mid priced digital camera. Something that will work with iPad and phone. It’ll just be used for mini photograph. Any ideas and recommendations would be appreciated 😀

I’ve got plenty for urban areas but nothing for the centrepiece of Prax adventuring, the Big Rubble. So I‘m setting aside Nov or Dec to pick up some @fenrisgames.com ruins and see if I can do them fast without being all picky and perfectionist as usual. Thieves hideout will be Griseldas digs.

Whew, first September mini painted. I barely got anything done in August so hopefully crack my knuckles and get on with some serious Autumn painting. She’s another Sword of Humakt, the Glorantha death god. I just realised they all have head swaps! All minis and bits from @fenrisgames.com

A duck, troll and human battle green funky marsh zombies. They’re all on a rocky hillock. Some hills and trees can barely be seen through the mist.

The adventurers standing in a line on the same outcrop. They all have sword and shields and are dressed mostly in black, though the duck has a lot of green there too.

The character is from the Runequest world, Glorantha. Argrath Whitebull. He’s one of the leaders of the rebellion who kicks out the Lunars, the Evil Empire of the setting. It’s all very nerdy! The mini itself is a mix of bits from @fenrisgames.com and an old GW Pegasus.
