Dinosaurs meet ancient ancestors in battle for the ages! Bunch of @fenrisgames.com ducks vs. Honourable Lead Boiler Suit dinosaurs. For Runequest so some of em might be intelligent . Lovely dinos but most seem to be unavailable 😞 . Resin stonework also Fenris, backdrop @handiworkgames.bsky.social

Painting the the rest of my @fenrisgames.com slabs to make a small jetty. On a river so loads of moss and plant life, reeds etc. not sure whether a tie-up spot for a little boat or a bit wider for merchant traffic. Also pondering, lazy option with the blue mat or do some water effect shenanigans. 🤔

Cluttered tabletop. There’s some painted and unpainted resin stone platforms laid out on a blue mat to look like water.

Gave the centre model was a partial repaint (helm white wings and shield a bronze trim) Shown with the White Wolf mercenary company, a bunch of sellswords in Dragon Pass. Also part of a small Humakti warband. Absolutely everything here from @fenrisgames.com and @mad-elf.bsky.social !

Bunch of warriors in black arms and armour. All have wolf pelts and iron swords. Centre is a wolf pelt banner. All on a mossy rock platform.

Small bunch all in black and dark blue. They each have shields carrying a stylised sword rune.

Not posted a lot as I’ve been painting a whole bunch of dinos. In the middle of a big un and a big lad after. Gladiator woman, big lad and stonework (planned to be an abandoned wharf hence the green) @fenrisgames.com backdrop @handiworkgames.bsky.social posted again as I messed up the credits! 1/2

Titled “Clever girl” A well armed but slightly dim woman in armour, shield, shield, helm and sword surrounded by raptor dinosaurs of various sizes. Shes oblivious to the big one right behind her. All in mossy worn stone platform

Hey @fenrisgames.com I’m on a bit of a dinosaur binge atm, does this T Rex have the rest of him knocking about somewhere, and are these all the dino minis you have in stock? I remember some horned chaps. The protoceratops is going to be a Nobles pet and the others beastfolk, not broo. Cheers 😀

All from the 90’s when Man o War was current. The minis the shields and banners are from have long since been stripped but I saved some of the fancy stuff, also from the 90’s. My fave shield is the orange brown face, very early GW.

Painted tabletop shields and banners. Lots of skulls so clearly GW. Also red and black ship sails.

Painted dark elf fleet with lots of sea serpents with tiny turrets perched on them. Also huge skull prow floating castle. All painted purple and blue.

Where the magic happens. My RQ minis were in the bookcase which was great for inspiration as they were on view while I painted, but they moved to a shiny new home.

Murky corner with a sprawling bookcase topped paint table (bureau). Shelves to the right and table to the left and a white husky underneath.

Glass cabinet half filled with painted miniatures.

Prepping for my next batch of minis. I don’t have enough monsters so it’s dino and blobby time. Blob is a gorp who loves to make friends, literally, small dinos as rubble runners, big uns pack leaders, two at the back pack animals. Blobbys are @fenrisgames.com dinos mix of HLBS and Forge of Ice.

Loads of raptor dinosaurs in blue grey base coat, 2 pack carrying dinos, baggage will be added later. In front are 2 oozy slime people and a big blob monster, all in flesh colour.

My cracked and ancient is starting to piss me off and I’m looking for a decent mid priced digital camera. Something that will work with iPad and phone. It’ll just be used for mini photograph. Any ideas and recommendations would be appreciated 😀

Black & white photo of a massive camera as tall as a person and 3 times as long. It’s one of those concertina types.

I’ve got plenty for urban areas but nothing for the centrepiece of Prax adventuring, the Big Rubble. So I‘m setting aside Nov or Dec to pick up some @fenrisgames.com ruins and see if I can do them fast without being all picky and perfectionist as usual. Thieves hideout will be Griseldas digs.

Playing with my toys! A village on the edge of Sun Dome County. Sun Dome and Yelornan’s led by Vega Goldbreath facing off against rowdy Orlanthi, Storm Bull and some stuck up dude on a white winged bison. Just about everything here is @fenrisgames.com

Table layout of an adobe village with flat topped roofs and arid ground. Some hoplites in blue, grey and yellow facing Celt types with cow hide shields led by a warrior on a winged white bison.

A close up. An angry goose about the tear someone’s face off. Opposite are some angry barbarians with horned helms.

Whew, first September mini painted. I barely got anything done in August so hopefully crack my knuckles and get on with some serious Autumn painting. She’s another Sword of Humakt, the Glorantha death god. I just realised they all have head swaps! All minis and bits from @fenrisgames.com

A duck, troll and human battle green funky marsh zombies. They’re all on a rocky hillock. Some hills and trees can barely be seen through the mist.

The adventurers standing in a line on the same outcrop. They all have sword and shields and are dressed mostly in black, though the duck has a lot of green there too.

Does anyone have any info about this John Blanche piece? It has space at the top for a title so perhaps done for a book or magazine cover. It’s not Warhammer related or anything GW come to that. I’ve tried searches but no luck.

John Blanche illustration. Shows a woman on a horse. She has wild black hair and small fangs. The horse is white and wears a yellow caparison with small magical symbols and also has fangs.

Spent most of today working on another Sword of Humakt She’s going to be the boss of the mercenary company. I gave her some added height with a lower leg swap so she’s more of a size with the 2 massive barbarian types. Strapping lass. Bits from a whole bunch of @fenrisgames.com minis.

3 minis, a tall warrior woman in furs and gladiator helm flanked by 2 burly barbarian types with 2 handed axe and sword

Base mini for the conversion. She’s a Northern seer in furs holding a dragon headed staff.

Nooo I’m almost out of gladiator helms! Yeah I know they weren’t a Bronze Age thing, but ritual combat at funerals seems such a Glorantha/Humakt thing I couldn’t resist. They’re a lovely pack from @fenrisgames.com

3 warriors wearing gladiator helms. One has a great axe, another a hyena on a leash and the last has a sword and shield.

Warrior on a winged bison. He’s wearing; a gladiator helm and holds a banner of heads topped with a sword.

Finished some more street kids and messing about with @handiworkgames.bsky.social books and scenery. An assassin up next (I’m on an urban kick). He‘s another skull cultist from @fenrisgames.com but more normal size than his friend the giant, shown for scale. Going for Temple of Doom colours.

Flat roofed adobe style buildings with some kids on top. 2 barely toddlers, a snotty kid and their teenage leader. Their loyal dog keeps an eye out for city watch.

Same four kids on a stone platform with high cliffs and a gorge behind.
