2/8 penultimate sketch from this dark time. Childhood trauma was something I was working through in therapy during this time, and for that reason most of these will be cartoon characters I enjoyed watching through my youth. This one was made to be more lighthearted to try and keep my mind at ease.

Looking back on these is kinda cringey for me but I like to revisit them once a year to remind myself how I was able to get through that time. Also a nice reminder of putting your own mental health above anything else, as I put the well being of another far above my own at that time.

Unfortunately I was diagnosed around middle school. The office that diagnosed me only keeps information on patients for 5 years. My parents had the information but lost it over the years. Im hoping my last Dr. can maybe help with a letter, otherwise it’ll be a difficult few months. 🥲

Moved state lines and the new doctor won’t prescribe me the ADHD medication I’ve used and needed for 15 years. Sounds like I have to get diagnosed all over again which could take months I’ve got 5 pills left. 5 days of being a productive individual.
