I just found the script for next season's Bridgerton. The intrigue. The prestige. The sex. The bonobos.

A drawing labeled a quick guide to non human ape sexy times. There are four boxes. Box 1: orangutan with two circles connected by a single straight line labeled antisocial monogamy. Box 2 is labeled gorilla and has a row of three dots each with its own line connecting to a single dot labeled polygamy. Box 3 is chimpanzees. Three dots on each side. Dots adjacent to each other are not connected, but they are connected to all of the dots on the opposite side, labeled competitive promiscuity. And box 4 is bonobos (so you know this will be fun). It's easy to use social media to spout off about archaeology. It's harder to spend 12 mos. digging in archives to find documentary films made about actual archaeology, get them digitized, cut together, and shared on the Internet to show folks what real archaeology looks like

Whelp….I survived the pandemic, Delta variant, and all the waves. But today, finally, I was diagnosed with Covid (after 4 days of the absolute worst flu and strep symptoms I’ve ever experienced) Started showing symptoms shortly after returning from #saa2025.
