Apparently Marjoe Gortner died a couple days ago, according to Wikipedia, though there are no news articles about it. From a child preacher to an absolutely unhinged villain in Earthquake to the Luke Skywalker to Hasselhoff's Han Solo in Starcrash, Marjoe had a fascinating life.

Having gone down the rabbit hole, the truth is even stranger! The composer was Paul Bliss, and Brian May's then 4-year-old son was obsessed with Star Fleet. During Queen downtime, May called up Eddie Van Halen (!!!) and they made a three-song album including this cover.

for example, Ryan North is writing Fantastic Four and Flash at the same time, which is a pretty rare feat. I believe Zdarsky has written Batman at the same time as Daredevil(?) Joshua Williamson maybe. John Byrne. Going back far enough, most writers cut ties with one before writing for the other

I like that The Question canonically gets his ass kicked A LOT but gets back up and keeps fighting because he's so Zen. He's like Indiana Jones in that way except for the Zen part. He's constantly a sliver away from death and I think that's cool
