I can't get one element of my UI the way I want it (related to visibility of cooldowns). I've only found one addon that can do what I want, and it conflicts with other addons I have and like better for what they can do. I am no longer in my happy place... and I miss WeakAuras. ☹️

Sometimes, when I'm waiting for a queue to pop, I change into Druid's Flight form and fly way up. Then I turn into Bear form and plummet to earth, and see if I can get really close to the ground and turn back into flight form without dying...

What's left on my personal UI wish list? Audio alerts when: - I'm targeted - I gain aggro - a tracked buff is applied or expired. Ability to color enemy nameplates (eg casters have pink bars). Buff/debuff filtering - on raid frames, but also on your personal buff/debuff panels.

Some great UI changes in today's Midnight Beta patch notes! Major defensive buffs will show as a large icon on the center of raid frames. Audio alerts can announce player & target spellcasts, when the player’s target starts casting an interruptible spell, & when the player’s target is interrupted.

One can argue that addons make WoW less approachable & give players an unfair advantage. One can also argue that addons make WoW more accessible & help level the playing field, particularly for players who have visual, physical, or cognitive challenges.

What does it matter if someone with a ticking dot has a dotted border on their raid frame? What does it matter if a sound plays when my tank in M+ has used a defensive? Making it harder for people to perceive things if they need help perceiving them isn't making the game more accessible IMO.

Finally did the Broken Shore scenario in Legion Remix. Varian's death STILL makes me cry. Peak Warcraft story telling. I don't know if the story will ever make me feel that way again. I like being able to run instances with Horde friends, but I really miss the factional element to the story.

I now understand players who say they want to play nothing but Classic. Because that's how I feel about Legion Remix. I would totally play beyond December on a Lemix-only server! I didn't realize how much I loved this expansion until now.

The whole “git gud”/“adapt or quit playing” response to the removal of combat addons from WoW infuriates me. It’s not just that people are trying to take the easy way out. Some people just literally CANNOT process information in the way it’s presented by the game.

Accessability features aren't advantages. Myself and many other disabled players can't play the game without them. It's not an advantage. It allows us to just even fucking show up. If the removal of addons goes ahead, I LITERALLY won't be able to play this game I love dearly at all anymore.

Im generally for the changes coming for the limitation of addons, with the caveat that ive been worried from the start how these changes will impact people who use addons for accessibility reasons. Heres a thread on reddit filled with firsthand experiences of how they use addons for accessibility.
