(in full) what he paid into it? As I see it, that's the only way SS will be solvent as Bernie suggests [that is, have him pay in & not give it back]. Too, employers are req'd to match employee contributions to SS. They won't like paying more. Bernie's plan seems like a temp fix.What am I missing?

The chances that a billionaire will need SS benefits is slim, but he pays into it, in case something goes wrong & he's bankrupt in old age. And, more than likely, he has other retirement accounts. So, if he doesn't need SS, why should he pay *more* into it? Is Bernie's plan to not give him
