SS @mscatminder13.bsky.social · 53mNot painful you just feel a sort of gushing feeling or spot the blood in the mirror. I sneezed and dislodged something. The car is the worst place to have them if you’re driving. I’m fine thanks. You don’t feel ill or anything :) xx 000
SS @mscatminder13.bsky.social · 1hOk thanks that’s useful to know. In the past I’ve had a few but they’ve never lasted long. 110
SS @mscatminder13.bsky.social · 1hOh. Ok. Is that a thing ? No this was much shorter. It went on too long because I was driving and unable to deal with it for a few minutes. Then fine. 110
SS @mscatminder13.bsky.social · 1hSo far just a one off :) I mean I’ve had them before but it’s been ages … 110
SS @mscatminder13.bsky.social · 1hIt was the sudden shock and driving at the same time ! Mess all over. 010
SS @mscatminder13.bsky.social · 2hYes. It stopped pretty quickly. Looked a lot worse than it was…. 010
SS @mscatminder13.bsky.social · 2hHuge Sunday dinner in delightful company. The calm before the storm. Driving home a sudden mega nosebleed - had to pull over but not before I was drenched in red sticky stuff and not a tissue in sight. 4110
SS @mscatminder13.bsky.social · 10/10/2026We took them out on the bikes- in frequent use with kids incidents in the lakes. And mine on one memorable occasion. 000
SS @mscatminder13.bsky.social · 09/10/2026Do you think old t lights count ? It’s not easy to get candles these days. 100
SS @mscatminder13.bsky.social · 09/10/2026Oddly enough I got a big first aid kit for the car when the Bebe arrived. 100
SS @mscatminder13.bsky.social · 09/10/2026I seem to remember asking others if they were prepping. I wasn’t at that time. But others were (some) and it spurred me on to get some baked beans etc . I’ve just ordered some bottled water…. I’ve never used bottled water so don’t have supplies like some people do. 110
SS @mscatminder13.bsky.social · 09/10/2026I’ve heard people mention seeing him. I’m not there often. 100
SS @mscatminder13.bsky.social · 09/10/2026Some tissues. A half bar of dark chocolate and a jar of honey for Tiny Newman 000
SS @mscatminder13.bsky.social · 09/10/2026The cat is popular. But there are some who don’t agree that the cat should be allowed in the hospital vicinity ….i hope it doesn’t come to a skeleton cat appearing. 010
SS @mscatminder13.bsky.social · 09/10/2026When I used to go to conferences in America everyone used to knit all the time throughout the conference. Fascinating. I only knit at home. I don’t know why really. 120
SS @mscatminder13.bsky.social · 09/10/2026Flu jab yesterday at the hospital. I was shocked to see not the usual hospital cat but a skeleton sitting in the chair in the waiting area at the pharmacy. I wasn’t amused. 350
SS @mscatminder13.bsky.social · 09/10/2026.. and walk bang into the neighbour who doesn’t communicate - with anyone. I delighted to see a wry flicker of amusement. Side note. We are not lighting the stove. The sun is shining like it’s June. 130
SS @mscatminder13.bsky.social · 09/10/2026Wild here , wind and pouring. Worth getting up though - sun broke through as we came back into the cottage. I tell myself I have to keep up a cheery demeanour for Tiny Ted when the weather casts her down so I’m shrieking to her - in my arms- we are lighting the stove and going to be snug as bugs 140
SS @mscatminder13.bsky.social · 09/10/2026I had a very early start but am still listening to the radio and we haven’t made it to the garden yet. TT says no. Her head is buried under a fleece. Suits me. It’s going to be a 9 30. 110
SS @mscatminder13.bsky.social · 08/10/2026Later Tricia took up the story herself. As a CF patient her adoptive family had not expected her to survive into adulthood. 000
SS @mscatminder13.bsky.social · 08/10/2026The strangest of days. And I spent two hours or so just now watching the online celebration of life for Tricia Kirschner Lawrenson whose incredible life I’ve followed and felt part of for almost twenty years when her partner Nathan started a blog documenting Tricia’s wait for a transplant. 000

SS @mscatminder13.bsky.social · 08/10/2026They see which is cheapest and just click on it and check it all sounds ok. Next time round when the quote comes through unless the price has dropped - as they have been- it’s worth ringing to ask for a cheaper deal with the same company if you’ve been happy with them. They often say yes .. 000
SS @mscatminder13.bsky.social · 08/10/2026It’s v stressful the first time but it will all be much easier next time. I make a list of what’s important eg how much excess id be prepared to pay if I had an accident. Do I get a car to use if mine is being fixed after an accident. Do they include breakdown services in the charge. Etc. .. 100
SS @mscatminder13.bsky.social · 08/10/2026Couldn’t resist looking up papi poo and found the Havapoo also. Ha. No thanks. 110
SS @mscatminder13.bsky.social · 08/10/2026Omg. Poodles are so bright. The combination would be lethal. Tiny Ted is the brightest dog I have known. Any brighter she would be so much sharper than me. 130
SS @mscatminder13.bsky.social · 08/10/2026Just as well we didn’t pursue it. Tiny Ted refused point blank to exit the house , or descend from the sofa at that stage really. Several of us tried and she slipped her lead and legged it home …. #monkeyTed 110
SS @mscatminder13.bsky.social · 08/10/2026I think I found a possible dog walker for Tjny Ted when the elder was incapacitated. But she threw a wobbler. I definitely remember finding something out ?? #cinnamon 210
SS @mscatminder13.bsky.social · 08/10/2026Pop a card on the noticeboard in your post office or vets. You’ll soon have a dog or two to walk. 000
