Today, I'm remembering my mother, the first Catherine, with whom I shared a birthday for 63 of my years on earth. I was her 21st birthday present on March 7 ❤️ I miss saying Happy Birthday to her.

In 1989, Marc Lépine killed 14 female engineering students at Montreal's École Polytechnique. Canada established December 6 as the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women, urging action against gender-based violence. It surrounds us still. Never forget.
