Japanese skip Satsuki Fujisawa with thumbs up and a big smile after a comeback victory to begin the Karuizawa International. She trailed Kitazawa 4-1 after five ends and won 6-4. Fujisawa is already qualified for the @grandslamcurl Invitational in Victoria next month.

🇨🇦 Marco Arop leaves the Ultimate Championship with $75,000 after his 800m second place finish. He says it was the last race of a long, challenging season and he was going to give everything he had. Draped in the flag. Drenched in sweat. He gave everything he had.

Curling news. Because the season is about to ramp up. There is still no host location for the 2027 Women’s World championship in March. I’ve learned World Curling is in ongoing discussions to have the event in the UAE in Abu Dhabi. Nothing finalized yet.
