I’m really sorry y’all can’t smell how delicious this garden house is right now. The orange trees and hyacinth are divine. I’m gonna hide behind the plants until they lock up for the day and sleep on the marble tonight.

Met coworkers from Prague in SF tonight. One kept on taking every photo he could have the Transamerica building and Coit Tower. So I had to take him to this pier for this view. Never gets old.

The Chancellor of my campus (equivalent to the President) was a highly esteemed Professor of engineering, an immigrant from Taiwan & VERY Go Bears. At the Alamo Bowl the trombone section gave him a large foam cowboy hat hand painted w/ I 💙Cal Band for a photo opp. He wore it the whole week proudly

I hear from @uncle6.bsky.social that the old BART cars will run for the last time today. “Lucky” us, we got to ride one today for old time’s sake. Gee, I can’t imagine why these grungy old cars are going away.
