Am I missing something or is the Garmin charging port absolute garbage? I have like 4 cables and they are all super flakey. I've cleaned the port with IPA but I just kind of have to fiddle until the right pressure is on it that it's charging and then don't touch it.

Day 1 with this Garmin watch. Unimpressed so far. My Apple Watch feels much nicer, even the aluminum model, and the software feels better with the Apple Watch. 7+ days battery life feels like a decent bonus. Going to try a jog with it at some point soon that might turn me around.

I keep hearing recommendations to connect cycling sensors over ANT+ rather than Bluetooth because it’s more reliable and such. People also call ANT+ ‘old’ and outdated in some way. Anyone know why that is? How is it both more reliable but dropped from newer products? Is it a licensing thing?

Finally threw the wildcards into a version of the Azorius Oculus deck on MTG Arena and wow it was not functioning the way I was expecting. A lot of work to filter into the combo, vulnerable to removal, and lacking interaction. Overall unimpressed. Deciding if I should swap some cards or give up.

Tried on my new bont cycling shoes and I’m fairly happy with how they fit. My current Lakes are wide but my foot like lines up towards the outside, like I don’t have enough arch for the curvature. May commit and throw cleats on these.

I've rediscovered the joy of hot coffee. There's something amazing about it that is just missing from iced coffee. Two biggest hurdles are Starbucks has just offensively terrible brewed coffee, and the need to carry a water bottle everywhere because hot drinks make me thirsty. 🤷
