In #MathsToday Yr 10 used some of the tasks from this great set of questions from @1stclassmaths.bsky.social to practise some tricky equations involving index laws and solving quadratics. In #MathsToday U6 we’re getting a lot of satisfaction from solving trig equations involving the addition and double angle formulae. Lots of ‘light bulb’ moments as they spotted what to do!

In #MathsToday I gave my new yr 12 class some of the trickier questions from their IGCSE exams in the summer to see if there were any rusty skills! Yr 10 recapped fraction skills including considering whether a common numerator might be more efficient when comparing fractions such as 3/11 and 4/15
