The old tannery in the caves under the almost demolished 1970s shopping centre. Our guide round was fantastic, very knowledgeable and played the harmonica superbly too!

I also visited for the first time this summer, part of a road trip up to Northumberland in the camper. Stunning city. We couldn't do it justice in our short visit so it's now on the list for a return trip.
