Transformers won the robot wars of the 80s, obviously, but that doesn't mean that GoBots and Super GoBots weren't also awesome. I picked up Super GoBot Spay-C this weekend and he's just nifty.

Didn't want to post anything until I was sure he'd be OK, and since he is, I would like to introduce you to Burt. He's a juvenile lutino Oscar fish. I especially like his orange question mark at the base of his tail. Love you, Burt.

Back when I was very little, my Mom "read" this picture book to me at the Mt. Greenwood Branch Library. For about the last 40 years, I've tried to remember what that book was since it is a cherished early childhood memory about my Mom. Today I found that book!

I'm in Moline this morning where the trains blow their horns. I am happy my home of Evergreen Park has a no-horn ordinance. It makes a huge sound pollution difference in a heavy freight-train area.

Agreed. Buy the time the Tenth Doctor was calling himself "Time Lord Victorious" that character was well past his sell-by date. I liked David Tenant better as the 14th Doctor; so much more humility.

In my opinion Democrats get nothing nothing NOTHING by betraying trans people. They hurt themselves with a good deal of their committed voter base, and still don’t get the Republican votes they are so fucking obsessed with winning over. Lose-lose! People hate voting for squishy moral cowards!!

I'm catching up with @p1podcast.com, episode 1029 and I am convinced @superpac.bsky.social and I crossed paths in New Buffalo and Warren Dunes State Park up in Michigan as kids. My Dad would also put us up in questionable motels and walk around naked with no shame.

I loved LEGO, but I love the rights of trans people more. LEGO is pushing out even more Harry Potter content in sets and games in advance of that new HBO series. LEGO is the most visible merch supplier of JK Rowling. Without LEGO, that series would be much less visible, so I no longer buy LEGO.

FASA Star Trek was a huge part of my childhood in the era before TNG. I still have many fond memories of reading the source books and playing the Tactical Combat Simulator with my best friend.
