I'd love to see a new console with physical media as it's baseline. You can have a digital copy, but the game has to be the exact same file as exists on the disc/cart. No day-one patches, no half-assed cosmetic DLC, no bloat. Your game is released when it's 100% QA tested and finished.

Not only do I want physical media back, I want game sizes scaled back to be able to fit on a physical disc (or discs, no more than 3) and actual decent QA to be carried out. Day-1 patches can get fucked and DLC needs to be a separate disc/cart later on.

FF7 remake trilogy sucks. OG FF7 had basic gameplay, but a killer story to follow. Remake's combat is dressed up to look like something it's not (i.e. action-based when in fact, your skill means nothing) and the story just won't stop interrupting itself for no reason.
