Teach kids how to make Quake maps. Assign them the task to recreate their bedrooms, let them take photo ref and convert that ref to textures in the correct palette, etc. This isn't some weird vocational tech-STEM fantasy move; I just want kids to know that gamedev is tough even with mature tools.
