The BBC's Have I Got News For You, on this week's RAF Fairford security incident: "The suspects have all been released on bail to the surprise of Donald Trump, who exclaimed — 'How do you give bail to a terrorist?' Beats me Donald. How do you give the presidency to a sexual abuser?"

White evangelicals need to wake up to the immense dangers of ignoring traditional Christian values in exchange for access to power. “Particularly among white evangelicals…going to church actually makes your views more extreme. It’s not the case that more church is the answer to democracy.”

Vile. ICE puts unrepresented young KIDS alone in front of immigration judges. One asks an unaccompanied 13-yr-old why he shouldn't be deported “‘I don’t know,’ Angel replied before bursting into tears. He stared ahead stoically & continued to cry, eventually saying: ‘I have no one. I have nothing”

Interesting. On 3 January 2027, when the Senate convenes it is under 34-31 control of the Democratic party—regardless of the election results. Because Democrats will control procedure, they could act to retain Senate control in response to any false electoral fraud claims attempted in the House.

Broadcaster Dame Esther Rantzen has died aged 86. She hosted this incredibly moving 1988 'That's Life!' episode, introducing Sir Nicholas Winton to people he saved from the Holocaust, when they were children in Prague in 1939. "Can I ask, is there anyone here tonight who owes their life to him?"

National Institutes of Health does science. Science isn't "woke"—it’s science. The NIH funds life-saving medical research. But the White House is actively de-funding scientific projects that mention "gender," "climate change," "equity," or "race". Censoring words won't cure diseases.
