This time last year I was drifting into a really unsettled place with myself, but a year on, I am absolutely putting in the work and so much better. Better at standing up for my needs, holding my own boundaries and respecting others. Knowing my self worth and dealing with the past. I am thankful.

So it's obvious that starting roughly this time last year I was suffering with sleep apnea & hormonal depletion, it got much worse around last autumn. I have definitely pulled around these last 6 months. The two pronged approach of TRT and a cpap machine is working wonders physically and mentally.

Not even two weeks into TRT and it's showing signs of improvement. Somewhere between a quickie and fucking for as long as I'd like to, and @suzu1982.bsky.social was out like a light for the best part of 12 hours!

Well, I might be on the mend. Got a very important hospital appointment this week, and hopefully a very stressful task that is my duty but someone else's responsibility might be fixed later on this week, And then hopefully things might just come together nicely with people I really care about.

One thing I can't deal with is men being jealous of me. I know that this might sound like a humble brag, but it's not. I've met many people like this, who just seem threatened by my honesty, confidence & self awareness, they just can't help belittle me for it. I'm calling them out going forward.

So, I had my consultation with the ENT surgeon. The takeaway of it all is I need to continue to loose weight, use the CPAP machine & in 6 months time he will arrange to see me again, and it can be done through the NHS, so I just paid to be given advice quicker and get a bit further on sooner.

One of the end results I've noticed from going through the changes with me in the past six months, is that j don't stand for people's crap anymore, and can pretty much see through any falsehood going, j do it with tact and am far from judgemental, but I stand up for myself and will pull people up.

One of my faults throughout my life is people have often mistaken my silence for compliance, and taken advantage of my understanding nature. I'm not going to be so soft anymore, I will still have plenty of respect, but just for those who earn it. Civility will also be offered on a sliding scale.

In health related news I had my first night with my CPAP machine, had it on for 6/7 hours after a ridiculously crazy weekend, and set it up a bit haphazardly, so I'll get it dialed in tonight hopefully, I think there is a decent chance of it helping actually rest up and the early signs are good

People don't realise an apology is an oath, and probably the one made most often that gets broken. The first part is realising what exactly you did wrong, the second part is doing everything in your power to Never have to apologise a second time. It's up to you how easy you make that on your self.
