My London friend is coming down tomorrow, so I may have to save the serious dancing until then. Still, it is Friday - time for a little warming up. 💃🕺

Raffi is decidedly unimpressed by these darker, cooler mornings. I fear we may have to find an alternative way of taking our morning constitutional. 🚘🐶

Loving these still, sunny September mornings - hardly a breath of wind and autumn seemingly in no great hurry to arrive. 🌸

The difference between front & back is barely discernible, such is the cool drama of Molyneux’s mid #1930s velvet gown. A slight dip at the neck & opening at the front of the floor length sleeves, otherwise it is a mirror of itself as she stands in velvety majesty #PalaisGalliera #FashionHistory 🗃️🪡

Sometimes just a detail is enough to appreciate. This #1770s gold ribbed silk gown has quite a story from its many alterations, refashionings and later use as fancy dress but this point here is beautifully constructed, seams and sharp pleats and covered buttons all a-glow #VandA #FashionHistory 🗃️🪡
