Had an idea in the shower for an algorithm to find the "rough direction of a set of points". Worked beautifully, but now I'm wondering if all I did was derive linear regression from first principles? I'm just creating a matrix of absolute values of dot products. 🤔

We've rolled out a spam detector update that should be much better with detecting hacked accounts that post fake "game updates" in comments, among other things. We also did a pass on collection spammers Spam is a never ending battle, but hopefully this update should noticeably improve the situation

With the rise of generative AI, there's a new kind of scam when you release a game on Steam. "Local" news site reach out for review keys. The websites exist and they have a lot of lenghty articles in their language. Just like 99% of the emails asking for keys, it's a scam!
