For the last five months the @fullfact.org team has been asking AI chatbots about false claims circulating online before we publish our fact checks. We found the LLMs often parroted the misinformation we're trying to combat. Read more about our experiment here 👇

Small pro-tory group made a dent in ensuring community notes weren't added to party tweets at the last election. Pretty rare to see this in the UK, but once again showing the weaknesses inside the badly governed crowd sourcing of truth. If only something like independent fact checking existed.
