New trend on Instagram has artists doing a gender-swap on Draco Malfoy. Naturally, she is a anime-style tsundere type who secretly crushes on "Pottah." I'll view it as a reaction against Rowling's anti-trans rhetoric, though I'd rather Potter fandom just...go away.

Spacek's chops made her one of the few actors to play an ugly duckling role where she's weird and off-putting in her "normal" state, then believably blossoms into a staggeringly lovely swan. Yes, I know about make-up and costumes. But I stand by my statement.

You can visit the estate (it's part of the Lake Forest fortest preserve district), but the house is only open occasionally, and you have to get tickets. Not a rip-roaring historical site, but still pretty interesting to see where the former Illinois governor and statesman lived.

Useless trivia: "Welcome Back, Kotter" was originally just titled "Kotter." Sebastian was asked to create a song reminiscent of his Lovin' Spoonful days, but "otter" was the only rhyme he could come up with. So, he titled the song "Welcome Back." The producer liked it and extended the show title.
