Sun’s out, but it’s a gray day. Trying to stay positive. My buddies are at the BSidesHarrisburg con I usually volunteer at, but I have to work 👎 Helping out with the creative’s one thing and I’m thankful. Seeing everyone again is another. I wish them an awesome conference 🖖😎🏴‍☠️

All the white parts between the feathers have to be cut out. This is what I’ve done to myself. 😓

Been meaning to post this. Got to do the challenge coin for BSides Harrisburg again this year. Half tone in metal was a learning experience for sure. They supplied the logo and the cartoon hacker cow. I did the vector and layout they got to use for shirts and all that. Thankful 🍷😎🏴‍☠️

She liked chin scratches and belly rubs. She was a rollie-pollie kitty and a proper weirdo who liked trying to eat fake plants and attack paper. I’ve had many pets; many cats. I’ve never had a cat like her. The smartest, softest little black kitty. T-Berry. Princess Kitty. Most precious Tita. 💔

Gatita became Tita. Her friend became Foy. She was usually at the door when I came home. She was at the door whenever we did yard work. She liked to chase her string. She liked to sit on the top of the furniture and hang out with us. She was always good when she went to the vet.

We let her and her friend in at night, then let them back out in the day. Still unsure she or her friend wasn’t someone else’s. When the weather turned cold, we just kept her inside. Took her and friend to the vet. No RFID.

We don’t know what happened to the fuzzy one or the rest after we’d stopped feeding the circus. One day, though, wife was going to the yard and Tita was meowing - both front paws on the storm door and looking in. One of the neighbors yelled up, “tell your cat to shut up!” Seemed like she was ours.

Tita was part of the circus. She’d play with one of the other cats. She looked for our attention. She’d follow us on walks. She didn’t want to go near the road, so she walked in the woods. When she couldn’t keep up, we’d yell to her to meet us back at the house. She was there when we got back.

In an old apartment building that’s since fallen down, a different little fuzzy kitty was born and we thought about taking it in. We’d put food out for it and its sibling - which drew a crowd. At most we had probably 8 of the neighborhood strays coming around in a big kitty circus.
