Looks like a bunch of folks don’t like the look of the remastered Witcher 3 update. I installed it tonight on my 5070ti and it looks stunning with ray tracing on. Maybe it needs HDR or something? Huge improvement to me. Hope they don’t nerf it.

Wordpress is 40% of the internet & is some of the most horrible, sloppy, tech debt code in existence — before AI was invented. Not to mention the source of endless security vulnerabilities. It let people who couldn’t build a site publish online, a good thing! But “vibe coding” is such a problem now.

Look at their own website: was this mess of a UI vibe coded? Someone who didn’t know how to code installed Wordpress and a bunch of half-assed plugins to create some sloppy site that’s hosted and served from a data center. But it’s a net good that you were able to make and publish stuff online.

I think we aren’t mat at AI. We are mad at big tech companies ruining everything they touch. AI tools can be run without data centers and without gobbling up the internet. AI coding isn’t all “vibes” if you know what you are doing. It’s a tool. These takes are sanctimonious.

When listening on my iphone with airpods, my mac would take them over any time I opened Amazon in the browser. (Mac airpod seamless switching feature.) It was annoying. A good day thrifting. The used media stores down the road had some gems. The Mel Brooks collection wasn’t cheap, but I traded in some stuff for credit. Straight Talk (Dolly Parton) was 6 bucks! Jojo Rabbit is an all time favorite. I kinda regret getting Tank Girl new. Oh, well!
