There's nothing in the motion that prevents, discourages or punishes anyone from going to synagogue. Personally I would have accepted the amendment as friendly, but without it the motion isn't flawed or dangerous as some are saying

Journos have been dutifully lining up with their neutral 'explainers', factually stating that the state pension is too generous, and shouldn't be necessary because people should have private pensions and if they don't then fuck them
BBC 'Verify' video entitled "Are you paying for other people's retirements?" "...a triple lock will be less needed in future as people will have more of their own pension to rely on" (The Guardian)

Stand by what I said in July on #PoliticsLive on the triple lock. It's affordable, justifiable, and there are much better targets for saving money (even on pensions) than modifying the triple lock

Condemnation is pure hot air if in the next breath you’re telling everyone you’re doing your best to give the fascists what they want, just without the masks
In fact, these are scenes we have not seen on British streets. Immigration needs to be deal with, I will be the first to say that and we are dealing with it. The boat crossings have been halved since six years ago, net migration is down massively.

I searched for far right Facebook groups to see if any of my old school mates etc were members. How close is this thing? Conclusions: dunno. Web is so broken you can't even search for legit race hate groups, it's ALL slop. Biggest Tommy Robinson page I could find is AI nonsense with overseas admins

I had a middle aged v posh Reform canvasser in a gilet. Told him the only reason I wasn't chasing him out of the building shouting no pasaran was because I'd already done that to a Restore leafletter a couple of days before and so Reform look 5% less bad by comparison

Children born in the week Bear Stearns collapsed are now 18 years old. All they have ever known is There’s No Money Left and There Is No Alternative Except Scything Cuts To Benefits And Services. That has been their entire lives in this country.

Just like those who came before him, Andy Burnham entered No 10 with soaring ambitions. But, just like his predecessors, he is quickly discovering the limits placed on those ambitions by the towering level of Britain's debt and the parlous state of the public finances

Something that took me by surprise when doorknocking in May was how many people of a certain age pointedly told me that they wouldn't be postal voting, think it's a disgrace, shouldn't be allowed etc etc. Right so this is the latest thing is it

Infuriating that @theguardian.com never mention ethics in these articles. Not even a cursory line to say that many of these funds will stick your money in weapons firms, fossil fuels, companies profiting from genocide. Poor from an allegedly progressive paper
