For the path finding I'm just using the A* algorithm, but getting that to work with my room setup was a bit of a challenge.

Thank you to everyone at #galacon2026 who tried out my game or even gave me feedback, it was truly lovely meeting you all! I expected most people to drop it after a minute but I was pleasantly surprised to see people play for a while or even finish the demo. Also I got some bugs to fix soon :p

I finally finished a small demo that I am comfortable letting people try out. And one of the first things a friend of mine does, is to die in a particular way that somehow immediately skips the first level. I love game development. #mlp #brony #rainbowfactory #gamedev

There's more to the animation and I tried out adding blood particles and stuff, but I think cutting to black is much better. I still need to do proper death animations when I eventually add factory workers to the game.
