Has this been confirmed? His names hasnt even been released yet. Reports of him being non verbal, but there is another video, prior to him entering, of him saying "Can you grab a shot of me with the tiger?" Some reports saying his "pacing" was him trying to psyche himself up to jump in.

Teammates get the message that were not trying to score another goal. They stop making runs, they turn backwards instead of forwards, and it creates indecision. Opposition get the message that we think the game is done, which give them a boost. Fans get anxious.

The attitude of our players once again, diabolical. There was a moment, shortly after we scored. Shaw let the ball run through his legs to get a throw in, instead of controlling the ball and starting an attack. It might sound like a small thing, but it sends a message.

Yeah, they bolted on Euros qualification to try give it some more weight. I do like that smaller nations get the chance to play competitive games against each other, rather than just getting spanked by the big guns. In reality though, not sure fans are actually that arsed.

Maybe coaches can be forced into using more of their squads? For a 4 game break, each player is only allowed to appear in a max of 3 of them (for eg), or 2 out of 3.

I dont think there was a huge amount of difference in performance between Amorims Utd and Carricks Utd, last season. Often felt we were a little unlucky with some of Amorims results, and a little lucky with Carricks.

That would have been one hell of a gamble for us to take. Seemingly not one we, or any other clubs in the PL, were prepared to make. He may well go on to be a top keeper, but he needed to play week in, week out. Learning on the job at Utd probably not the best route for him to take.

I think it is on the coaching staff too. The players are not taking instructions, or they are following the instructions exactly. Either way, its a problem for the staff to fix and they either cant or wont.

The players are clearly work shy. They hate it. You can see it in their body language, you can see it in the way the run. Its reluctant. Our "press" is superficial. There is absolutely no collective belief or desire to get after a team, push them back, force errors, make them uncomfortable

Heaven is miles away from being a top PL centre back. Hes the weak point every time he plays. I think he has the attributes to be great, but he needs to play week in, week out, for a couple of seasons. And I dont think we can afford to do that for him at Utd.

We are clueless when we go on front in games. Like we dont know what to do. We hesitate going forward, so the combinations are not there, and the hard supporting runs are not there. But we also have no idea how to just sit deep and defend the box. We just exist. Doing nothing.

If a player in an offside position tries to attack a cross, it influences the defenders positioning and decisions, and the GK's positioning. It cannot be the case that he misses the ball by an inch, so is deemed to just not be there at all.

My view on the offside is that, regardless of whether the interpretation of the laws was applied correctly or not, instances such as those *should* be given offside. If that is not clear in the rules of the game, it should be made clear.

Ffs! You know what though, I hate our attitude in games. From about 65 minutes, we tried to control the game without any attacking intent. Its a weak mentality and you cant do it. It has cost us today, it will cost us again in the future.

Yeah, weve got the numbers. 25 senior players (plus Lacey & Amass). We were not going to sign an attacking player unless at least one left. Defensively, were short at LB, but we have the numbers. 8 senior defenders plus Amass. Its just unbalanced.
