i need to continue my legacy and start writing atla rarepair yuri

ali is on bsky! @mowochi.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

tbh when reading atla fic it bothers me how anachronistic modern queer terms like “gay” or “homosexual” feel. my pitch is we standardise “friend of kyoshi” to mean gay.

medieval era latin is both easier and harder to translate bc like… the language is much simpler, but they fuck it up by fundamentally not knowing how latin grammar works.

using my fanfiction-based platform to discuss just how fascinating it is that many medieval narratives involving werewolfism suggest that, to be a (chivalric, knightly) man, one must serve and submit themselves to other men.

spent the last six months basically drawing fanart of medieval fictional characters and writing a whole dissertation on why monsters are gay so like. guess that’s my hyperfixation now. is this a safe space to discuss gawain and yhe green knight?

[ #svsss ] . It has been almost 9 months since I last posted on here too. Please have Shen Qingqiu as my offering 😔 . . . Re-upload because I sent the one without my watermark . #shenqingqiu #人渣反派自救系统 #sqq

Three warm up sketchy fanart of Shen Qingqiu from the Chinese BL novel, Scum Villain's Self-Saving System. Top of page is Shen Qingqiu looking disgusted with his face all scrunched up, looking back to his shoulder to see a blue glowing window (the system), making a knowing face towards him. Middle of the page is Shen Qingqiu in Luo Binghe's Point of view: he's smiling so prettily with sparkles in the background, and the bottom part of the page is a badly drawn Shen Qingqiu with clown make up looking so proud of himself.

My most millennial gripe is the way fandoms and interest groups have moved into closed discord servers now. The children yearn for the forums, webrings, and livejournals of their ancestors.
