The FGC's relationship with skill rating in two comments. Couldn't have gotten better fuel for a script I have in the pipe.

Screenshot of two recent comments on my latest video. The one at bottom was posted an hour before the screenshot was taken, and says "You're above average brother... all those ranks you named are like 70th percentile".

The comment on top, posted 52 minutes later says "you are still a beginner"

Combo Breaker is a wrap for me. Seriously considering going back next year. Was great to be able to hang out with @guilewinquote.bsky.social and @baberuthless.bsky.social once again. And thanks again to @ajbmtg.bsky.social and everyone else who gave me their time for this project I've got brewing.

Guessing the post was suppressed on Shitter, so asking here as well, reposts appreciated. Working on a documentary project about the demographics of the #FGC. Would like to talk to POCs, women, trans and non-binary people about their experience within the community, at all levels.

Been playing with an HDMI switcher and Unreal's live production features for the stage setup at the monthly. Couldn't stream because of technical issues, but will try to figure it out for next time. I'll need the NDI license to safeguard against some jank with the UE setup

On top of a table, an Osee GoStream Deck HDMI switcher, connected to a portable showing multiview, next to a laptop using Unreal Engine' rundown broadcast feature

By learning what moves are 'immediately available' you can de-mystify seemingly large move lists. Also notice in my notes I sorted them by startup, so I can easily find faster/slower moves when needed. (2/2) #PlayMoreVF #VirtuaFighter #バーチャファイター #VF5REVO

I remember @goastromo.bsky.social at the end of Exolore saying something about how silent supporters don't have much of an impact (plz correct me if I misquoted), so trying to do my bit. Paulie's work is amazing and you should consider following it. And so is Dr. McTier's for that matter :)

Modest beginning for Battle By The Wey 01, but the venue is good and there's a lot of space to grow. Will start looking at dates for the next one, and might consider streaming if I get some help on the TOing. Keep an eye out if you can travel to Guildford. #FGC #SupportYourLocals
