I've sent this to @realgdt.bsky.social, but I want it to be visible to others on the spectrum. As an #Autistic man his new adaptation of Frankenstein was actually an emotional experience for me. I've felt such a kinship with Frankenstein's "monster", or Adam. I feel... pathos. 🧵

When I was being diagnosed with #Autism, one of the questions asked was what should people do when they feel lonely. I suggested they go to a crowded place, like a pub, or ride the tube for a while. Apparently you should reach out to people you know. So yeah, I was diagnosed #Autistic

Today I was eaten by an angry marshmallow. Down its throat I slid, a gullet so shallow. It began to choke, it gasped, growled, & chirped. So loud was its fit as it slurped then burped. Out I was spat, my taste unappealing. But that, at least, put an end to its squealing. #OddlingPoems #Poetry
