I keep seeing lots of people talking about violent Odyssey discourse but I've only got people on my feed merely saying "it's good", or "I didn't like it", plus some memes, and sharing the emily wilson review. Anyway I watched this version like a million times as a kid, that's enough for me.

I love colour matching tests, but I was surprised that the few (~3 if I remember correctly) I didn't get were red adjacent hues. For some reason I though it'd be the blues. Check yours at www.keithcirkel.co.uk/whats-my-jnd/
Result for a test judging the ability to differentiate between two colours, giving a score of 0.0039, where lower is better.

Ludicrous to me how close to the ttrpg 'core worlds' I look on here given the calibre of people around - if that were in any way related to being able to sell stuff I could probs quit my day job after I release Witching Winds.

I'd had the presence of mind to save away a few pounds every month in the runup to Dragonmeet to build a war chest, which is why my haul ended up feeling enormous this year. Also includes a kickstarter collection though.
A variety of rpg books and accessories laid out on a carpeted floor: Death game, Bdsm, Drama Llamas, the wonderful discovery of witches, the goodest girls, the goblings, ion heart, fever swamp, doomsong, lay on hands, enter the whalefall, lord have mercy upon us, a crocheted dice bag in the colours of the trans flag, and some sice.

I went to Japan and shot a few rolls of film on a cheapo toy camera, rolls of film which were x-rayed four times before they were developed - some with an iso of 800 - and among all the overexposed, blurry, and grainy shots there are some real gems every now and then.
A grainy black & white photograph of the seated Great Buddha statue in Kamakura Japan, taken from a low angle. In the foreground there is a decorated metal incense burner and ash pit for more sticks of incense, the smoke of which wafts upwards to somewhat obscure the statue.

I hadn't though about what colour they would be actually - presuming one might go for a green for evens, red for odds to show that one is good and one is bad, you'd probably need a base colour that doesn't swallow either of those colours. Maybe a neutral black or white, or a blue.

I've magicked up a map for Witching Winds inspired by marbled endpapers and thermal imaging. It's supposed to be an in-setting artwork created by a psychic wanderer, who received a vision of the islands of the archipelago and their broad spatial relationship at that point in time... (1/x)
A psychedelic map in green and yellow, depicting an archipelago of around seven or eight islands. Between the islands there are three strange purple shapes coming out of the sea.

First concept for a back cover for Witched Winds. The overall vibe is what I'd like it to be, but it's not so great in all the details yet.
A forest scene at dawn or dusk, the sun rising behind the trees. There are three shadowy silhouettes of humanoid beings, all with transformed or transforming bodies. The reactions about this vary from lamenting the fact to seemingly revelling in it. A malignant force is rolling across the picture in red circular waves.

The longer I looked at last nights cover mock-up the less I liked the colours and lack of depth of it all, so when I got home today I had to rework it a little more. I think it looks a lot better like this, almost passable for a one-person project.
A mockup book cover for something entitled "Witching Winds, a role-playing game by Axel Sabitzer". It features graphic, stylised waves and a crystalline tower rising from them in front of an orange sky. The tip of the tower is materialising a purple ball of energy, which is sending green and orange swirls outwards, disturbing the sky.

I was tired of writing more rules so I started noodling a cover design for Witching Winds - one I'd use as a placeholder while I itch-fund for artists. I was looking at a lot of art nouveau book covers recently so I got into an angular, graphic mood. I don't hate the direction of this tbh.

Mantis-snail, Snail-mantis - it's a slimey one for sure.

What's the cover art that got you started in the TTRPG hobby? Here's mine:
Cover for one of the core books of the third edition of the German TTRPG "Das schwarze Auge" (The dark eye) It features a viking-esque man with a winged helmet, a grim looking dwarf, and a female archer standing on top of a cliff face. In the background there is a castle on top of a mountain.

Picturetime again, I've started on my "Faeries", which in W.W. is what humans often end up calling any weird sapient being that has a lot of insect characteristics. Like this one.
A flying creature looking a lot like a bumblebee crossed with a Golden lion tamarin. It has wings, feelers, six insect-like legs, and two monkey hands.

Ok Mothheads, I had a training montage just now that was just me shouting at myself going "Edit! Simpler! This has to go on a book's spine!" while staring at my latest logo idea. Took a lot of stuff out and thought more in fields than lines, this is what it looks like now. Tell me you love it.

With the name/logo excitement I forgot to post my latest illustration - truly a creature to strike terror in the hearts of seamen and casual beach-goers alike. I'll be moving on to what they call Fairies or Fey in my setting, beings with insect characteristics.
A black and white illustration of an eel-like creature in the sea, three parts of its body emerging from the waves. It has a duckbill like a bird or platypus, a single horn, and the pincers of a crab instead of hands.

Still thinking about logos - the skeleton idea just came about because I wanted to lean into the Emperor moth having eyes on its wings, completing the illusion of a face. But a skeleton adds unwanted darkness where I'd prefer psychedelic weirdness, so I stripped it down to just an added mouth here:
An emperor moth with four eyes on its wings, with a mouth beneath it, completing the impression of a four-eyed face staring at the viewer.

I've done some real quick logo ideas for Mothmind Press, so I might as well see what the public thinks. They are: Emperor Moth on a skull, making some eyes Moth eating a book Moth (now a guy?) looking into crystal ball Moth that vaguely looks like an M (based on the elephant hawk m.) Thoughts?
Emperor Moth sitting on a skull so that the circles on its wings look like four eyes. Moth sitting on an open book that has two letters M on its back. The moth has taken a few bites. A semi-anthropomorphic moth looking into a crystal ball containing a psychedelic swirl. A single Moth, which loosely resembles a pointy letter M.

As promised I'm on to drawing amphibian and aquatic weirdos for my ttrpg setting/system. This kind I call "Drip-Drops", and I love them. Would defend with my life.

Another doodle of a strange creature magic created in my TTRPG setting. Since magical mutations are unpredictable and ignore natural laws the creations defy neat categorisation also. Humans might apply old names for spirits unto them depending on where they are found.
A humanoid creature that has the body of a simian and the head of a greyhound, only with two horns on top of it. A very long tongue hangs out of its mouth.

Feeling dread about the world but made myself doodle something for my game as a distraction. It features magical forces changing and mutating everything they touch beyond where humans can ward them away, so I get to invent weird creatures. To start, this is a borderline normal gal.
