It only feels “radically progressive” because we’ve spent 40 years normalising radically regressive ideas. This was broadly how Britain worked from 1945–79, when average GDP growth was 2.6% a year — compared with 1.9% in the post-Thatcher years. It works www.theguardian.com/politics/202...

Argh! #powerautomate is quite fickle sometimes. Although to be fair I think sharepoint is at fault this time.

So that’s another power automate flow that is playing up… and another job to do. Be nice if Microsoft products properly integrated. Excel and power automate just seems an up hill struggle currently

I've managed to organise direct orders for The Wolf That Chews Rocks, which means you don't give a penny to Bezos, and it's a lot cheaper too. Go here and click the link. Or don't. I'm not your bloody mother, make your own mind up. russelljonesauthor.com

This is "Stormtroops & Freikorps Again!" - our parody of "Time Warp" from Rocky Horror Picture Show, taking on the topic of the emergence of #PatriotPlatform last week & putting it in an outrageous and glam 👠European context. One of us may have made a mistake towards the end 🤨 youtu.be/R0DGY3iH9ao

I have evidently reached that age where every game I saw and thought “that’ll be great but is too expensive” is dropping below £10 on steam. I have also reached the age where I buy said game, and don’t get around to playing it as I’m too busy.

Fixing various issues, mostly with things I’ve built - pretty much all boils down to a variety of power supplies breaking / not having enough oomph (technical term). However, some of the corrective measures may be slightly overkill!

Took my boys for an open evening at the local boys grammar. Really impressed, and has boosted both boys’ aspirations. However… has also got me thinking about a return to mainstream science teaching…. Maybe. Do worry my subject knowledge has gone downhill with 15 years in AP though

2/2 hedgehog removed. None the worse for wear. Placed in an area of the garden abundant with slugs and snails. Each chicken replaced back in the hen house and calmed. Turns out the winder on the auto closer needs fixing… tomorrow.

It’s midnight. Sounds from the garden suggesting one of the #chickens is dying painfully. Even the neighbours are up and asking what’s going on. Hurry down the garden. No murder. A hedgehog has got into the chicken house and the chickens have panicked. Full on imminent death panic. 1/2

My nine year old when I was showing one of our chickens to a visiting 3 year old- “That chicken is so AI” I responded with a somewhat incredulous “the chicken is very much not A and is certainly not I”. This is the chicken that sits out in a hail storm. Where’s that phrase come from?
