11 returning players for Sheffield and a lot of core players. Danger man Balmas is back for his 4th year whose stats in the league read as played 162 and picked up 188 points. A couple of signings from the Swedish 2nd tier and one from the German top flight shows they mean business is year

Quite a few changes for the Panthers but it's looking pretty exciting. Max Grondin is quickly becoming a fan favourite already, getting points and seemingly up for a fight with anything that moves. Darick Louis-Jean I think is my favourite of the new guys so far and getting Robson in is a great move

The big news for Manchester Storm is of course them returning to the Manchester Arena. A good news story, not only for them, but the league as whole. It's a great advert for both that attendances for the side will go from about 2,000 to 10,000+

Guildford I think have done some pretty good business this summer. In particular they have brought in multi title winner Boudrias from Belfast and big points scorers in Neumann from Clan and Sanford from Devils. Flames are my pick for 'best of the rest' outside of the arena teams

Glasgow Clan have retained a fair few of players from last year and have made some good signings. Spencer and Armour are in from Panthers and trust me, they are good players to have in your squad. I'm interested to see how Josh Tarzwell gets on after scoring way more than a point per game in USports

Only 4 returning players and only 1 of which isn't a young Brit in the form of Garet Hunt (boo) The Flyers are unbeaten in pre-season in what is a pretty young squad (average just below 26) with a fair few of the imports coming from university teams

Another side with a lot of changes in Dundee who had a year to forget in 25/26. Quite a few from the ECHL but also a couple of notable names from the league in the form of Gary Haden and Keaton Jameson. They've also signed goalie Vladislav Pestov who played in the Conti Cup final last year

All change with the Blaze with just 9 returning players. Mismash and Gleason are back and are joined by Perlini from Cardiff who feels a good fit for the team. 4 of the players are on 2-ways in a side that feels a bit of a mishmash, it'll be interesting to see how they get on

An incredible 19 returning players for the Devils (roughly 80% of their squad) who see Nicholas Welsh join from Manchester which feels very fitting for the team from the principality. The Devils finished runners up in 25/26 and won the playoffs. They are my tip for the league title this year

14 returning players for the league champions of last year with 4 2-way players. We've already seen that Belfast have great coverage across all their lines but the signing of players like Peter Bates and Kaleb Pearson is a real signal of intent. I'm sure they'll receive a great reception
