Would I be allowed to use these lil babbies as references for owl cats in a trrpg game im a part of? My character adopted a pair them recently and we’ve mostly been using theatre of the mind for her pets, but these are exactly what I imagine when I refer to my Owlcats!

The fact that time never stops and it just keeps going endlessly is both terrifying and really comforting

Ooh it reminds me of this fic: archiveofourown.org/works/37915558 !! It does have some art in it already and it’s very nsfw, but near the end the author has a description of him in his true angel form, and your art made me think of that immediately!!

I made this Pride flag using only NASA images and our team thought it would be cool to share on social (I work on the NASA heliophysics communications team), but it's getting all sorts of hate on the bird app and Fbook. Thought y'all might be more appreciative of it here. ☺️🏳️‍🌈💖

A pride flag with every color band represented by a NASA image. White is Earth clouds, pink is aurora, blue is the Sun in a specific wavelength, brown is Jupiter clouds, black is the Hubble deep field, red is the top of sprites, orange is a Mars crater, yellow is the surface of Io, green is a lake with algae, blue is Neptune, and purple is the Crab Nebula in a specific wavelength.

This is so insanely gorgeous! The fact that the stars and sky have that massive variety of colour? And the time it must’ve taken to find the exact ones you wanted to use, then edit them into the right shapes? Gods this is so cool I love it!!

You are allowed to celebrate good things that are happening today: your birthday, a book coming out, new baby, new puppy, seeing your favorite piece of art in person, etc. Joy is the knife that stabs into the heart of despair & apathy. Feel your joys, big & small, & share them widely & loudly.

Im realizing it’s relatively inconsistent, but I rarely have the motivation to actually do art but maybe doing it for other people might help, it does for other things in my life so why not this?

Mossy @mossymurders.bsky.social · 26/10/2024

I wonder, based on the art I’ve posted so far, would any of yall be interested in commissions? I don’t know exactly the type I’d want to offer yet just putting some feelers out…

A more recent pair of drawings I did to vent on chronic pain (EDS), with the cartoonish emphasis points being frequent points of pain for me. I was going to do more but hand was starting to cramp and also all of the other joints are hard to draw. #art

Skeletal drawing of right hand with various cartoon emphasis shapes at different joints. Joints with emphasis points are both thumb joints, inner wrist at base of thumb, pointer finger between palm and finger proper, all three pinky finger joints, and outer bottom of wrist.

Drawing of skull and top 7 vertibre from behind with two outward scribbles on the left side (positioned between c2 and c3, then between c4 and c5 respectively)

I’ve decided to contribute to the #cat photo gallery! Here is my lovely! Her name is Windy

Close up photo of a grey sleeping cat. She has a small patch of white on her chest and in the photo her front paws are reaching up towards the camera (pink toe beans)

An exercise I did recently in surrealist automatism, which is basically drawing without intent or thinking, and I really liked how it turned out! #art

Funky lil study of a very disgruntled owlet #art

Drawing of an owlet seeking shelter from the rain beneath a large mushroom. It is too large to fit its full body beneath its shelter so on the right side there is a stream of water running off the mushroom and onto its head, causing one eye to be squinted.

This one is a personal favourite of mine!! And also of me grandma’s as she got a tattoo of it!! #art

A humanoid figure with a ram skull where its head should be. The skull is cracked on the left side and supported by black tendrils coming from the stump of the creatures neck. It is posed leaning slightly to the left with one arm down with the elbow bent back up, as if holding something to its face, and the other arm reaching towards the upper right corner of the page. Its arms are black from elbow to hand, and instead of hands the arms end in multiple geometric swirls. The figure is wearing sleeveless tattered robes that are floor length and laced at the bust. At the bottom of the page where the figure’s feet would be there is smoke cascading from the robes.

I’m realizing October is the perfect month for me to join since I mostly do spooky stuff, here’s more #art

An arm drawn to look like growing wood comes straight up from the bottom of the page with the hand at a right angle to the wrist. It has a sphere in its palm. The fingers are sharp and decorated with rings, the tips blackened. There is a set of bracelets adorning the wrist. Behind the hand there is smoke coming from the bottom of the page and coming to curled points just above where the fingers end.

Okay I lied we’re starting from more than a year ago, and I don’t really know how social media works too well so uhhhh here have a ghost #art

Sheet ghost with void eyes, one slightly higher than the other. It has a half circle headdress that looks similar to a fan, with sparkles throughout. The left side of the page has pen tests next to the spiral bind of the notebook.

Ya know what I do art, and I want people to see it, I’m gonna dump a few of my favourites I’ve done in the past year here and if they get any traction maybe it’ll help keep my motivation to keep doing/posting new art up…. Yeah!

Mossy @mossymurders.bsky.social · 20/10/2024

My feed hasn’t really caught on that I mostly wanna see nsfw art so most of it is people’s cats and I am in HEAVEN looks like my feed is gonna be 75/25 cats to art and I’m okay with that

Mossy @mossymurders.bsky.social · 19/10/2024

Honestly I came here to look at the nsfw artists stuff as they’re migrating to here… judge me if ya want I guess 🤷🏻‍♀️
