I'd like to know more about how The Resurrection Project handled/handles safety and boundary issues with its youth summer programs because "have a man to man talk, more than once" ain't a good sign

. The staffer said she had run into the former summer program participant at a Resurrection Project event. Afterwards, according to the complaint, the former staffer was approached by a leader at the nonprofit to assure her he had spoken with Dominguez about that situation, and that it wasn’t “the first time he had to have a talk with Hilario about his behavior around young women.”

These paintings depict the late Irish pop musician Sinéad O'Connor (1966-2023) in the guise of Joan of Arc, a 15th-century French military leader who later became a saint. As young women, both were punished for refusing to bow to the authority of institutions that later canon-ized them: the music industry and the Roman Catholic Church, respectively. Mulleady suggests a parallel between the contemporary icon and the historical figure, collapsing centuries of time on the surface of these works. Paintings, the artist reminds us, are more than singular objects: They exist on a continuum of past, present, and future images.

The Service Employees International Union gave Jessica Biggs $160,000 and a related PAC, Brighter Futures, has spent another $237,000 on ads supporting Biggs.

Once allies, the CTU and SEIU became estranged after CTU organizer Brandon Johnson was elected mayor SEIU Local 73, which represents CPS support staff, accused the CTU of using its newfound power to try to raid its members.
