Make stuff. For the love of all that there is, please just keep making stuff! Doesn't matter if it's bad, good etc. Just *keep* making stuff.

Thought I understood what everyone was saying about my tattoo being itchy while it recovers It is taking everything within me not to gnaw my arm off at the wrist

Thank you @limbolanegames.bsky.social and Makeship for this blessing I was just trying to make the Apple comment as a joke but then it turned out that is actually his size and it’s great

💚AJ💚 @mortimerbadger.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

To my follow people in the #SmileForMeGame fandom The #DrHabit plush from Makeship is legitimately only 3 apples tall. I am losing my mind right now

Good news: I think I’m past the initial healing stage of my tattoo as with a new second skin I haven’t had to deal with too much plasma today Bad news: the itchiness has begun

May I add the water isn’t shut off because of anything me or my sister did, it’s property wide cause of a pipe leak in a water line 7 feet deep. Things are very tense this morning for me

010

💚AJ💚 @mortimerbadger.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

Nothing strikes more fear into your heart than your second skin on the verge of leaking but the water at your apartment complex might still be shut off so there’s no telling if you’ll be able to clean it to put the fresh one your artist gave you on if it does

💚AJ💚 @mortimerbadger.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

Putting under the graphic tag just to be safe, but it’s not that bad Just a heads up for people who don’t wanna see but curious it’s gross tattoo healing stuff: I’m out here looking like the world’s nastiest fruit gusher

Thank you! It’s Handsome Jack’s Tattoo from the Borderlands franchise

💚AJ💚 @mortimerbadger.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

Almost there! Messaged my artist to get some of the last of the fine details down. He's just as excited about the tattoo as me so I'm gonna try and hold onto that and get hype! Don't think he quite got what I meant when I asked what tip percentage I should use though. He deserves a little extra

💚AJ💚 @mortimerbadger.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

No art today for it cause I ran outta time but Day 4 is over and done. Think the anxiety has passed for the most part, but the hype hasn’t kicked in yet. Part of me still can’t believe I’m doing this in three days tbh…

💚AJ💚 @mortimerbadger.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

Day 3! Showed my older sister the design I plan on getting and the special care kit I got to ensure a safe recovery. She has a bunch of mini tattoos now of days, including a matching one with me, so I trust her opinion and help on the matter. Feeling a little less scared today!

💚AJ💚 @mortimerbadger.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

give me a day or two and I'm sure my nerves will swing to excitement

010

💚AJ💚 @mortimerbadger.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

Day two of our countdown. Almost set my apartment on fire when the pot suddenly boiled over despite actively watching my spaghetti noodles cook. I'm sure that's not some kind of omen of things to come lol

💚AJ💚 @mortimerbadger.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

Good news is I got some numbing cream as recommended by my artist that’ll acclimate me to the pain if the process lasts longer than the cream, and this technically isn’t my first tattoo (I got a tiny one earlier this year with my sister) Just overall nerves 😵‍💫

💚AJ💚 @mortimerbadger.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

Here comes a small countdown leading up to Monday to help me sort out my feelings (ever felt like you're going to throw up from excitement and terror simultaneously?) about getting a tattoo by myself when I have an acute fear of needles and a sharp anxiety reaction to pain

💚AJ💚 @mortimerbadger.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

Been sitting on this for a while and now I can for sure talk about it as they're live on my friend TheOutsiderGospel's streams on Twitch! So hype seeing these in use now! #CommissionWork #MyArt

💚AJ💚 @mortimerbadger.bsky.social · 07/09/2026

I retract my previous statement cause yeah that is indeed fair

010

💚AJ💚 @mortimerbadger.bsky.social · 07/09/2026

Toob ate an entire rotisserie chicken with their bare hands on a stream like an animal (which I do too so I’m not judging) but Ham and Cheese is where you draw the line?

Oh hey almost forgot! For those who follow my Etsy, there will be a new sticker going up this evening. For those who like the newest #thebandghost “Peacefield” design I made >:]

You hate AI & AI peddlers, perfect. But do you love human artists? You can't hate AI without supporting your friends' works. Repost them, write comments, encourage others to follow them. Every repost I do = I guarantee this artist is genuine and you can follow them. Only human interaction kills AI

Considering the fact the oc of mine I had him as the voice claim for is literally an alien yes precisely that

💚AJ💚 @mortimerbadger.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

To anyone like me with Tim Curry as the voice claim for your ocs. That is permanently their voice now. He’s gonna live on in all of us as well as his own work. ❤️‍🩹

Thank you, dude! It was a struggle juggling it and my new job and life in general, but I did it and was a success which is always a great confidence booster

Now that the Con’s over I’m about to post all of these and the other things I’ve been working on! Sit tight for the next few days

💚AJ💚 @mortimerbadger.bsky.social · 03/08/2026

Ok but y’all I made like $350 or so and was able to cover both my rent and get a new One Piece figure for my collection. I feel so accomplished and cool rn Might even finally consider trying for a booth at the bigger convention we have at the start of this next summer just to take a swing at it 🤔

💚AJ💚 @mortimerbadger.bsky.social · 03/08/2026

Time for that Post-Convention veg out with comfort movies and Whataburger~

First time I’ve ever heard of someone not skipping leg day good job man lol

💚AJ💚 @mortimerbadger.bsky.social · 08/07/2026

Dagnabbit Amazon freaking charging me for Prime the same day I was going to order the third keychain design for my booth. Although I get paid Friday that’ll be too late to get them here in time. Oh well. It’s out of my hands. I’m still allowed to be annoyed though

💚AJ💚 @mortimerbadger.bsky.social · 29/06/2026

Wondering why it’s taken me so long to finally draw myself again, and turns out the only thing really holding me back was coloring my hair frickin Buggy the Clown Blue That and self shipping myself with a friend’s oc, but I digress

Hey so you guys know I am in fact working on quite a bit of art behind the scenes right now for the upcoming convention I have a booth at, but here: have some previews because you guys are so patient and handsome/beautiful #MyArt #Wip

I found the holy grail of my #TheBandGhost collectibles search. Despite how easy you’re able to get him, I never thought I’d find Primo’s pop at an affordable price. I almost exploded with excitement at the retro game store I found him in. Took him for a victory drive in my car named after him lol

Whether you agree with his (self-admittedly) cantankerous opinions, Harlan Ellison was truly a force to be reckoned with. I think about this interview often — especially when young writers ask me how to make a living as one.

Proud to say I saw this shortly after it premiered on YouTube. Half this animation still lives rent free in my brain ESPECIALLY the part at the end with the mechanical bull stage
