New espinner! The EEW Fold is a beautiful little machine, feels very sturdy. I can't wait to use it for some serious spinning! #handspinning #FiberArts
Two electronic spinners for making yarn, both in teal or light blue. The one on the left is about 1/3 larger than the one on the right. The smaller spinner has a grey bobbin with lots of sparkly purple yarn on it. The larger spinner has a purple bobbin that is empty. There's a very small metal device between them that is the foot pedal for the larger one.

An espinner has a somewhat rectangular base, a motor that spins a pulley that is connected with a drive band to a two-armed device above it called a flyer, which spins to twist the sheep's wool, or fiber into yarn. The bobbin is on a shaft that runs down the center of the fleet and spins or stops spinning based on the tension of the person spinning. When it stops, the yarn winds onto the bobbin.

Also, I recently played Sticky Business, which is a very cute, cozy video game about running a sticker business. This is my favorite sticker I've made on there. I'm not even ace and I love this sticker. #stickybusiness #cozygames #stickers #asexual
An image of the asexual pride flag, with black, grey, white, and purple horizontal stripes, with a curve as if in the wind. Printed in white letters on the black band of the flag is the word "Wholesome." In the lower left corner is a cluster of four mushroom types, including a common button mushroom and a red capped mushroom with white spots. The image is bordered in white, as if it's a sticker. At the bottom of the image are the words "made with Sticky Business" in purple, followed by a star icon in yellow.

I have a sizeable group of people who will play a 5 hour tactical board game that we lose more than 80% of the time and still have fun. 8 of the 9 of us are women. Last night we fieled a 6 player game of Nemesis:Retaliation. We have an immunocompromised player […] [Original post on dice.camp]
A board game in mid-game. Colors are dark, mostly black and red and dark blue, and the game is science fiction themed, with alien intruders facing off against the human marines. The chests and arms of (real life) players can be seen around the table. The game has a lot of pieces and components, some of which are painted. It's hard to tell from looking, but the players are winning this game.

We are in Braga, Portugal for another day. Visited the historic center again yesterday. Braga is pretty. Lots of churches to see, if that's your thing, but also a lot of green spaces and public places for sports and fitness activities, walks, and just hanging out.
A Baroque architecture building with arched doorways and windows. The left side is painted pink, and the right side has a very large painting with the upcoming events schedule over a blue background and photo of a dark haired white woman lying on her back. This is the Theatro Circo in Braga, Portugal. In the foreground is an open plaza with various people walking past.I'm front of a storefront for Dettagli, a lone woman with light blue hair in a white hooded jacket and black leggings plays a violin. In front of her on the sidewalk is her open violin case with a green lining. She is wearing sunglasses and appears very intent on her music. Her playing was incredible.

I 3d printed some Braille dice to donate to my local game café today! I wish I could make a braille instruction card to go with them.... #accessibility #ttrpg
A set of polyhedral dice in translucent blue resin, with Braille markings for the numbers. The dice set includes an oblong style 4-sided die, 2 six-sided dice, an 8-sided die, 10-sided die, 12-sided die, and 20-sided die. A set of 4 Fudge or Fate dice completes the set. The braille dice have a small ridge to indicate the lower edge of each dice face.

I haven't washed/relaxed it yet, but this is some of the results of my #handspinning on a drop spindle. It's mostly wool, with a little bamboo mixed in. Probably a bit of alpaca if I'm being honest. All from my rather too-much stash.
325 grams of brown, green, and orange 2-ply handspun yarn in the little "turtles" that come off of a Turkish spindle. Yarn is approximately fingering weight, but varies somewhat widely. Each turtle is a combination of two strands, so there are balls of all one color, brown-and-orange, orange-and-green, and green-and-brown. The greens vary in shade from light spring green to a solid kelly green. A few balls have variegated yarn as one of the plies, so the color is more mixed, such as a solid brown strand with a strand that blends between green and orange. There are about a dozen turtles of varying sizes shown in the picture.

I finished spinning a skein of yarn today. An art batt with wool and bamboo that I got in a fiber club. 82g/~138 yards, light worsted weight, woolen spun. It's very pretty and has a lot of lustre/sheen to it because of the bamboo. As the world burns, my wheel turns. #handspinning #fiberarts
