Oh, some of the cards I pulled for the game. The first five to represent each of us and the final card pull to decide what to do about my friend, the murderer.

The image shows five tarot cards laid out on a table. From left to right, the cards are:

1. **16. The Tower**: Depicts a tall building with lightning striking it, and hands reaching up towards it with someone throwing items out of the tall window.
2. **Knight of Cups**: Shows a person holding a cup, with a dog in the background.
3. **0. The Fool**: Features a person walking with a dog, carrying what looks like a notebook and about to head out the door for a walk.
4. **Page of Cups**: Illustrates a person holding a cup with a fish inside, sitting at a table with various items.
5. **3 of Swords**: Displays a person writing in a notebook, with swords and other objects on the table.

The image shows a tarot card labeled "16. The Tower" placed on a light-colored surface. The card depicts a tall, narrow building with multiple floors, each with windows and small figures visible. The top of the tower is struck by lightning, and clouds are present in the background.

Final result: god I love how my convention friend runs BWB, we ended up running the murderer and flipping her car several times. It was just like in the books. Unfortunately my game of Draw Steel was cancelled so it’s time to get going home. It was a nice recharge weekend #SaltCon2026

I love the fact that: In my Brindlewood Bay game, everyone is a repeat player and has decided to bring their own granny touches. I wanted to be the tarot reading granny, who only makes decisions by draw, another is the baking granny and last night, LITERALLY, baked cookies, brownies, etc

The image shows a tabletop setup for a game called "Brindlewood Bay." In the center, there is a character sheet with handwritten details. The character's name is "Lynette 'Linny' Ermine." Various sections on the sheet include "Style," "Cozy Activity," and "Abilities," with some options checked or filled in.

To the right of the character sheet, there is a deck of tarot cards with a decorative back design featuring a central circular pattern with green leaves and yellow ribbons. In the top right corner, there is a collection of colorful dice, including various types like six-sided and polyhedral dice.

The image shows a table with a clear plastic tray containing various baked goods. The tray is divided into sections, each holding different items. There are chocolate brownies, cookies with a dark filling, and short bread cookies.

Papers and a binder are also visible on the table, with text and headings, including one titled "MAVEN MOVES." The table surface is covered with a white tablecloth.

Don’t stuff your alt text with keywords without context. If your alt text is just a collection of keywords, it will just sound like a gibberish string. It won’t describe what’s actually in the image, and won't help a blind user get a context or content of the image.

It’s a reason I run games, so I can go to conventions for free lol. But I really have gotten to the point where running for strangers is the best way for me to get the rush I want in gaming and it’s been lacking for a while.

110

MorShadi🔜DragonsteelNexus @morshadiplays.games · 28/06/2026

It’s time to reevaluate how I want to engage in the space, how to find that fulfillment, and how to recharge my batteries elsewhere creatively. I run games at conventions to clear away the drudgery of life, it still is nice to get away.

MorShadi🔜DragonsteelNexus @morshadiplays.games · 28/06/2026

Bring a new game, something different, something deeper than what I normally run to be fulfilling for myself and spread the wider word that the gaming world is bigger than DnD/d20 systems or even my old standby PbtA. But the last few years, the vibe has been “stick to what we know” and I think

Types of games don’t hook, or just wanting to stick to tried and comfortable systems (my MotW games always fill up) it can get disheartening to always pack up the table 10 minutes in because of lack of sign ups. I never take it personally that a game doesn’t fire. It happens, but I try to always

I scheduled to run a game of “Last Train to Bremen” for a local convention this weekend and while many of the games failed to fire, I’ve noticed over the last few months to year, that people are not interested in the games I’m offering. Whether it’s the energy I’m bringing to the description or the

Depending on how this weekend goes, I’m going to be making a massive decision that affects a big part of my life for the past twelve years. I’m really needing to reevaluate what brings me passion and sparks creativity and the things I have done to do that haven’t in a while.
